The Career Services Department of Chester Career College enhances your academic training by serving as a resource for your professional and personal development needs. As a technical college, we are focused on helping to provide the essential tools required to obtain entry-level career opportunities. It is our belief that you have not just chosen a job, but you have chosen a CAREER.



We offer a variety of services that are useful tools for meeting the current demands of employers. Our services are offered to both current students as well as to graduates. Our services include but are not limited to: Resume and Cover Letter Review, Job Interview preparation, and Career Development sessions. In addition to this, we also provide Externship assignments and Job Placement assistance.

Externship Assignments

Chester Career College understands the importance of career specialty training and has included externship training as a part of your curriculum. The Career Services Department establishes relationships with employers that are willing to extend to you an opportunity to gain on the job training, to enhance your field knowledge while networking with potential employers, and to observe the day to day activities of your field of study. Your ultimate goals during your externship should be to strengthen the skills needed to become successful, seek a letter of recommendation, or to be hired during your externship experience.

Job Placement Assistance

The Career Services Department will help develop a plan of action where we work together during your job search. We will assist you by regularly posting job leads, contacting employers for resume and skill review, and hosting job fairs.
